I hope 2024 has been a good year for you. I almost can't believe Pockets For Women has been going for over 2 years. Seems like only yesterday I set it up. I hope I have managed to help lots of women find the clothes with pockets that they need. For this, my final blog post of this year, I wanted to give you some stats on how are we doing for pockets and compare with last year. Since the beginning of this year I've sifted through a mega 60263 products, 16476 of which had pockets. Of those products, 22304 were identified as dresses, 3137 of those dresses had pockets. That's 14% compared with last year's 13.5%, so that seems pretty constant. What's that? You'd like to see that as a chart? Well, my pleasure! Since it's December, I've gone for Christmas-y colours again.
This is how I spend my time, so you only have to see the pocket-y stuff (in green).
You can still see the no pockets to pockets ratio is still quite high. Although it does vary depending on the retailer.
In the last month, I have added on Scamp & Dude, who as well as doing fabulous clothes with pockets, also have great charity initiatives. I am also really happy to welcome Fat Face and their fabulous dresses back onto the site.
I have seen more people use the feature to let me know what size pockets are, and please carry on doing that, it's really useful, and if there's any particular feature you would like on the site, please do let me know, and please, if you like what we're doing at Pockets For Women, please tell your friends!
