But how big is a deep pocket? Well, I asked you and the answer was pretty conclusive. For dresses and trousers, big enough for an iPhone ( which to clarify I've defined as holding a rectangle 147.5 mm (5.81 inches) x 71.5 mm), and for coats, a pocket that fits a small paperback book. I am pleased to announce that coming soon Joanie Clothing will start sending through whether each product's pockets fit that criteria ( they tell me it is most of them). I can then add that information to the site! Look out for the deep pockets certified badge in the near future. If all retailers did that, it would be truly amazing!
In other news, in the next few weeks we should be getting Fat Face on the site. I have also approached quite a few other retailers this week, so fingers crossed for even more clothes with pockets! Next to add on is a lovely company called Pocket Sport, which, as you guessed it, specialises in sportswear with pockets! I've also made some changes to how the product pages look, hope you like them!
Just on a final note, a friend asked the other day, "How can you run a site where you look at lovely dresses with pockets all day and not buy them?". Well I admit it's a struggle, and sometimes I give in, but I make the sacrifice for you guys 😉. This dress has pockets big enough for my phone. You can currently find it here.
