Phew, a lot has happened since my last last entry. I have finished my last chemo :), it has been shown that men still have a way to go to beat the girls at football, and in the UK we have a new government. I loved the gorgeous dress worn by Victoria Starmer on the way into Downing Street, and the best part? It had pockets! The retailer in question, Me and Em, seem to have lots of gorgeous dresses with pockets, so I am going to ask them if they would like to appear on the site. Wish me luck!
Another retailer that caught my eye after this article in the Financial Times, What do women runners want? Pockets to put things in, was Lululemon, who seem passionate about giving female runners the pockets they need to carry their own supplies, particularly for the longer races. Again, I have approached them. Any other retailers you think you would like to see on, please let me know, and I’ll see what I can do.
In the past few weeks, I have added on Crew Clothing, Izabel London, and hopefully in the near future I will be adding on Toast. I have also noticed that Debenhams sell Karen Millen, so I have added them on too. For some reason, I assumed Karen Millen wouldn't be that pocket-y, but they actually have quite a few fabulous prom-style dresses with pockets and also lots of smart dresses for the office with pockets, which was lovely to see. With these additions, that gets us up to nearly 2000 dresses with pockets on Pockets For Women!
I think that deserves some balloons!
This will probably be the last entry until September, and from then on, the aim will be to move back to a monthly schedule. I hope you have a lovely summer, the weather gets better, and you can fully flaunt your fabulous summer dresses with pockets!
