Hope you had a lovely summer, and that all your dresses had pockets. Hello to everyone that has found Pockets For Women through the Guardian. For those of you who missed it, you can read the article here. In it, I was described as "Sheffield's own Pocket Warrior"- I'll take that.

The article mentions a new book by academic Hannah Carlson Pockets: an Intimate History of How We Keep Things Close. I know what I'll be reading next!
Here at Pockets HQ, I love suggestions from you guys about what you would like on the site. Suggestions I have had recently:
- Someone that it would be good to have more breastfeeding and maternity clothes with pockets. This week, I added breastfeeding clothes with pockets, and I am on the hunt for a good retailer for maternity clothes with pocket.
- I got an email saying they would like to have more inclusive sizing. I take the point, some of the retailers only seem to go up to size 16! A few days ago I got the go ahead to add Yours Clothing to the site. They specialise in plus sizing, so I'm hoping to be able offer clothes with pockets up to size 40 in the next couple of weeks.
- Pockets For Girls. Originally, I just wanted to focus on women's clothes, but lots of you have told me there is a big issue with girls clothes too, so I'm going to think about adding a 'Pockets for Girls' section and how best to do this.
- I want to be able to offer second-hand clothes with pockets. Over the summer, I was given the go-ahead to add clothes from PreWorn, which according to it's website, is "The largest second-hand clothing seller in the UK!", which is very exciting!
One of the things I need to focus on over the next few months to make sure I can afford to keep this marvellous project going, is getting word out there. This is where can you help.
